Term2 Week3 What happened?
The inviolable artifact was kept in the far end of the cave. Only the village head is allowed to retrieve it once every year. It has been a tradition for the last few centuries and the object is regarded as a fetish and it is a taboo for any average human that touches it. The day arrived for the village chief to take out that object once again but when he stepped into the cave, the surroundings were unusually quiet. All the animals had gone into hiding and the winds did not blow. All was still. The village chief walked into the cave, sensing nothing unusual. That was the last time he was seen. What happened, no one knows.

Intriguing. You have quite a good sense of drama. You might want to read books by Jorges Luis Borges or Gabriel Garcia Marquez. They are South American writers who writes with a magical realism style. For easier reading, you might want to read books by Neil Gaiman.
